About Us

The Central Computing and Network Facilities (CCNF) section of National Institute of Technology Manipur serves as the core technological backbone of the Institute, providing reliable computing, networking, internet, and digital infrastructure support for academic, research, and administrative activities. The section is responsible for planning, implementation, operation, and maintenance of the Institute’s IT infrastructure and communication systems to ensure seamless digital connectivity across the campus. CCNF manages and maintains the campus network, internet leased lines, Wi-Fi services, data communication systems, servers, website hosting, cybersecurity measures, email and digital services, as well as various software and ICT-enabled solutions required for the smooth functioning of the Institute. The section also plays a vital role in supporting online academic activities, digital governance initiatives, ERP systems, institutional data management, and emerging technological requirements. With a focus on security, reliability, scalability, and innovation, CCNF continuously strives to enhance the Institute’s digital ecosystem by adopting modern technologies and best practices in information and communication systems. The section actively contributes towards strengthening e-Governance, digital learning environments, research computing support, and secure network infrastructure in alignment with the vision and mission of the Institute. CCNF remains committed to providing efficient technical support and robust IT services to students, faculty members, staff, and various stakeholders while facilitating the overall technological growth and digital transformation of National Institute of Technology Manipur.

  • Maintenance of campus-wide network and internet services
  • Management of institutional servers and hosting infrastructure
  • Administration of official Institute website and web portals
  • Management of official social media platforms and digital outreach
  • Implementation of cybersecurity and network security measures
  • Technical support for academic and administrative activities
  • Support for online classes, virtual meetings, and digital events
  • Coordination with external agencies such as ERNET, NIC, and service providers
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting of network and server-related issues
  • Facilitation of digital transformation initiatives within the Institute
