5 days Online Short Term Course on “Applications of Vibration and Heat Transfer in Mechanical Engineering (AVHTME-2021)” was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Goutam Sutradhar, Director NIT Manipur on 27^th October 2021 at 10:30 AM. 78 number of participants from various IITs, NITs, Central and State Colleges and Private Universities from different states of our country and also from other countries participated in this course. The eminent speakers from NIT Manipur, NIT Jalandhar and NIT Mizoram delivered their talks on heat transfer applications in metal casting, fundamentals of vibration and heat transfer for industrial applications, vibration analysis of composite materials, and applications of active magnetic bearings in rotor system, vibration problem solutions using MATLAB, etc. The course was successfully conducted from 27^th October 2021 to 31^st October 2021 under National Education Policy-2020.
