LIBRARY FINE POLICY UPDATE
Effective from 1st December 2025
The Central Library, NIT Manipur, hereby notifies all users of the revised fine structure for overdue General Books, w.e.f. 01/12/2025:
For Students
- Rs. 10 per book for returns made 1–10 days past the due date.
- An additional Rs. 10 will be charged for every 5 day period after the initial 10 day grace
period.
For Faculty and Staff
- Rs. 20 per book for returns made 1–30 days past the due date.
- An additional Rs. 10 will be charged for every 15 day period after the initial 30 day grace
period.
Important
All fines must be paid in cash only. UPI payments are not accepted.
